Meet the Bergs

Berg Mountain Homes is a family business run by brothers Bill and Cory Berg.

Cory worked in all phases of remodeling and did mostly higher end custom remodels. This is where he learned his attention to detail and was able to showcase his creativity.

Cory is responsible for all on-site construction supervision, project management, sub-contractor management, scheduling and warranty services.

Cory has seven children - Adam, Ahnna, Joey, Eric, Ahndrea, Anna and Jonathan.

His wife, Mary, often helps him on the job site. She has a great eye for presentation and finishing touches.

Cory enjoys woodworking, boating, snow skiing, dancing, bowling and action movies.

Bill Berg

Bill has a financial and operations management background. Prior to partnering with his brother, Bill

worked primarily in the mortgage loan servicing industry. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and got his MBA from the University of Georgia.

Bill is responsible for most off-site functions - marketing, design, accounting, estimating, purchasing and customer relations.

Bill has three children - Jordan, Cory and Cooper.

His better half, Kristi, does most of the design work for the houses - both drawing up the house plans and the interior decoration (if left up to Bill, the houses wouldn’t look nearly as nice). She also does all the company’s marketing - brochures, signs, etc.

Bill enjoys woodworking, golfing, fishing, reading, traveling, architecture and following the Chicago Cubs.

Bill is currently the Treasurer of the Southern Appalachian Sustainable Building Council.
